She jumped into the sea to die.

Hee-yeon tried to escape from her home, her fiancé and everything that bound her.

Until she is caught by a stranger who saves her life.

“Why do you have to be on my radar, if you’re going to die, then do it quietly and privately!”

“Who told you to save me?”

“If you really try again, you’ll die at my hands.”

With that, Hee-yeon runs after Yi-kyu, the man who saved her, and throws herself into his life.

A life lived in a mouldy, underground room, fighting in the ring as a means of entertainment for gangsters.

The naive Yi-kyu roughly pushes Hee-yeon away, but he is unable to stop himself.

“f*ck you. I should’ve left you alone when you wanted to die.”

“You already saved me, so it’s not my fault. I’m going to get you out of here like you got me out of the Black Sea”.

” Hey, Yi Kyu, don’t die.”

She couldn’t tell him not to fight. It’s something he’s been doing all his life. Hee-yeon hadn’t even taught him how to live normally yet.

But his black eyes flickered wildly.

“…This is some kind of joke, why are you talking like you’re leaving?”

Yi Kyu’s voice trembled, his shoulders shaking roughly. “You said you wouldn’t leave because it was my decision to save you.”

There were no excuses; she’d said it, promised it, and now she had the audacity to say she was leaving.

“I saved you!”

Yi Kyu shouted furiously.

She couldn’t bring herself to look up and see his face. Hee-yeon let out a shaky breath and clutched his shoulders tightly, closing her eyes.
