Mel Slopey is an orphan from a commoner background whose hair turned white due to a childhood illness.

The mentally unstable Duke Heaven mistakes her for his daughter Bleria due to their similar hair color.

To prevent rumors of his father’s insanity, the young lord orders Mel to pretend to be Bleria.

So Mel lives as Bleria and prepares for an engagement with Gopher, the heir of the Duke of Allnight.

“You shouldn’t answer. You’re not Bleria Heaven.”

When Gopher confronts her about the truth, Mel thinks she’ll die for being found out.

Instead, he vows to keep her secret.

At the ball before her wedding to Gopher, Mel is surprised to see “Eos Liche,” who looks just like her.

In addition, she even had the necklace she saw in a portrait of young Bleria.

To make matters worse for Mel, the only person she trusted had grown increasingly cold to her since Eos’ appearance.

Mel thought that marrying Gopher would allow her to become the ‘real’ Bleria.

To survive the impending disaster, Mel must now make a choice.
