The protagonist, Yuusha, wakes up in a completely different world, with his last memory being that of a hospital.

Supposedly powerless, he is reluctantly hailed as the savior and sets out to defeat the entity known as the Demon Lord. However, his companions are all slaughtered by the Demon Lord’s minions.

As he braced for death, the one who saved him was Touko, his childhood friend from the previous world.

While her appearance bears some resemblance, her essence has transformed entirely, bestowing her with monstrous strength. Yet her spirit remains unchanged. She directed all her heartfelt goodwill towards me, without a hint of change.
