Yamagishi Yumi led a lonely life, suffering from her mother Keiko’s over-interference and controlling attitude. Keiko, who runs a cake shop, has been forcing her ideal of a daughter on Yumi since she was a child, pushing her into a corner. One day, Yumi suddenly takes her own life. Although everyone ruled it as a su*cide, her best friend Kobayashi Risa and detective Kitamura Haruo have their suspicions about her death.
