The young employee, Hachiro Nazuka, found himself at the office as the clock struck 3 p.m. Sayaka Sone, the quiet, unassuming office lady of their department, tried to offer everyone some homemade ohagi (traditional Japanese sweet rice cakes with red bean paste).
