By wishing to “live,” he takes on a fate that curses not only himself but those around him. Together with Archive, a lifeless girl bound by destiny to a “Book,” he is thrust into a fierce battle against the dreadful incidents connected to the Aberrant Objects—fighting to save the girl who was once a beacon of hope for him, who has become entangled in his distortions and turned into Archive’s vessel.

The gears of their cursed fates begin to turn rapidly after they encounter a high school girl and a “Book that devours letters.” What future awaits them—destruction, or something else?
